The Önálló Léptekért Alapítvány (hereinafter: the Foundation), as data controller, hereby informs data subjects about the processing of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information.

Data processed and purposes

The Foundation processes only the data necessary for the purpose of voluntary donations:

  • Name — — for confirming the donation and expressing thanks
  • E-mail address — — for sending a confirmation e-mail
  • Message — — if the donor voluntarily provides one

We do not share your data with third parties, except for the payment provider Stripe (processing of payment data) and the e-mail provider MailerSend (sending confirmation e-mails).

The legal basis for processing is the data subject's voluntary consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given by initiating the donation process.

Data retention

The Foundation retains personal data for 5 years from the completion of the donation, in accordance with accounting legislation (Act C of 2000).

Rights of the data subject

  • Right of access — — you may request information about the data processed
  • Right to rectification — — you may request the correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — — you may request the deletion of your data (except where a statutory retention obligation applies)
  • Data portability — — you may request your data in a machine-readable format
