The Foundation's statutes
The statutes of the Önálló Léptekért Alapítvány were adopted in accordance with the Hungarian Civil Organisations Act currently in force (Act CLXXV of 2011) and registered by the Budapest-Capital Regional Court (Fővárosi Törvényszék).
Purpose of the foundation
The Foundation's purpose is to provide financial support for the medical treatment, therapy and rehabilitation of children with physical disabilities, with particular focus on children in need of selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery using the Nazarov method.
Activities
- Fundraising to finance surgical treatment for children with physical disabilities
- Providing information and raising awareness about physical disability and available therapies
- Maintaining contact with Hungarian and international medical specialists
