We founded the Önálló Léptekért Alapítvány (Independent Steps Foundation) as an affected family ourselves.

We know exactly how much strength, perseverance, uncertainty, and hope this journey takes. We know what it is like when every small step forward in a child's development has to be fought for, day after day.

We work to give real help to children living with cerebral palsy (CP) and their families.

On this page, we are now raising funds for Zéti's surgery and rehabilitation.

Meet Zéti

Zéti is a smiling little boy full of love, who suffered severe oxygen deprivation at birth. He has been through many hardships since then, yet he has come an enormous way. Today he can roll over, crawl, ride a bike, and even take steps with assistance.

The biggest goal still lies ahead of us: that one day he can set off on his own.

Why is MUSE stem cell therapy needed?

MUSE (Multilineage-differentiating Stress Enduring) stem cells are a revolutionary cell type discovered in 2010 by the Japanese scientist Dr. Mari Dezawa.
